At this island home, its the little details that enhance the costal feelin, from the porch swings to the octopus hook. There are openings between the butler's pantry and the stairs to allow for natural light and sea breezes to flow into the space. Custom teak shutters with casement stays enhance the costal details.

With a drive-through breezeway garage, and a guest apartment above it, both openness and privacy are included. We incorporated exposed rafter tails and flared cedar shingles, which give this house the details that have withstood the test of time.
