This lovely historic home on Pinehurst No. 2 golf course needed more space for an active family. We widened the garage to provide room for bikes and a golf cart and added a second floor with two bedrooms and a “Jack and Jack” bathroom. The flat roof was replaced with a gambrel to keep it in context with the existing architecture.

The new detached guest cottage features architectural details that complement the main house. The great room and patio overlook the greens and the cozy loft with built in bunk beds give this cottage a warm and inviting atmosphere.
